The vote was suspended for several hours because complaints had been received from members of the House of Representatives who claimed that their e-mail address had been used by others. They would have voted for Het Coronabedrog, the book by Thierry Baudet. The Stichting Collectieve Propaganda of the Dutch Book (CPNB), which is the spokesperson for the NS Public Award, confirmed that “irregularities” had been found.
