This summer, rail manager ProRail is carrying out one of their largest projects at Amersfoort Central Station. “We are going to replace everything, but I really mean everything,” construction manager Paul van der Struijs previously told RTV Utrecht. ProRail will replace the rails, the rails, the stones between the rails, the overhead lines and kilometers of cables. And the number of substitutions is decreasing. The work will take place from July 6 to August 18.
