Now we finally know when Squid Game Season 2 starts

After Netflix released the first season of Squid Game in September 2021, the brutal fight for survival with sadistic games became a sensation. To date, South Korean production is the streaming service’s most successful series. The second season is finally scheduled to appear in 2024, but so far there has been no concrete start date. Squid Game main actor Lee Jung-jae has now revealed more detailed information.

Squid Game Season 2 is set to come to Netflix shortly before the end of the year

The Squid Game star spoke to Business Insider about the second season of the Netflix hit December 2024 should be published. He didn’t reveal any more details. The date has not yet been officially confirmed by the streaming service. What the new Squid Game episodes are about is still a secret.

In Squid Game from showrunner Dong-hyuk Hwang, hundreds of people with financial worries are drawn into a tournament of children’s games, at the end of which a million-dollar prize awaits. It quickly becomes clear that not only can one person win, but that one person will survive at all.

Before the release of the new Squid Game season, you can soon see main actor Lee Jung-jae in another series. In the Star Wars series The Acolyte, which starts on Disney+ on June 4, 2024, he plays the Jedi Master Sol.
