Finland has been without representation in the first division of freestyle wrestling in the UFC for a year now. Makwan Amirkhani is the latest blue and white representative in the top organization of the sport. His contract with the UFC expired after the loss in March 2023.

Helsinki Omran Chaaban, 23, is competing for a UFC contract on the popular show The Ultimate Fighter. The winner of the series gets a UFC contract.
Chaaban fights in the middleweight division, and there are seven other participants in the same weight class competing for the contract with him.
The victory of the tournament is not mandatory from the point of view of the UFC paper, because the participants who appeared in the program have sometimes, despite the losses, been able to test the strength of their wings in the UFC cage. The fighter nicknamed “The Lebanese Gorilla” belongs to a well-known agent in sports circles Malki Kawan to the stable. Kawa represents several prominent fighters at the UFC level, and now the collaboration has spawned the opportunity for Chaaban to pursue his UFC dream in The Ultimate Fighter.
