The US Department of Justice is considering a deal with aircraft manufacturer Boeing that would allow the company to avoid criminal charges. Tells about it New York Times referring to their sources.
The Ministry of Justice is considering demanding an independent quality and safety inspector for Boeing, but the more precise terms of the contract settlement have not yet been decided. The ministry is expected to make its decision by the end of June.
In May, the Ministry of Justice said that Boeing had violated previous agreementwith which the company avoided prosecution related to two disastrous plane accidents that occurred in 2018–2019.
