It is a long-awaited tradition – to run out on the schoolyard and be received by relatives and friends. Many have longed and the students at St Petriskolan in Malmö are really celebrating.
– It’s great to finally quit. It has been three tough years, says student Malin Ye.
Restrictions stopped celebrations
For the past two years, schools have not been able to carry out an outbreak – due to the corona pandemic and the restrictions.
– I did not think it would happen considering the years there was no student. So it’s great that it became one for us, Malin Ye continues.
“Party all night”
It is not only the source on which the students will draw their energy, but also activities in the evening.
– Big party tonight and party all night. That’s how I celebrate it, says student Gustav Larsson.
