The Chronicles of Amber was created by American writer Roger Zelazny and is divided into two great cycles, each consisting of five books. The first main story, The Corwin Cycle, was published from 1970 to 1978. This was followed by The Merlin Cycle from 1985 to 1991.

As Deadline reports, late-night host Stephen Colbert has joined the film adaptation with his production company Spartina Productions. In addition, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman is involved with Skybound Entertainment. Already seven years ago he announced the work on the series.
