With Mickey’s Mouse Trap we can expect the first horror version of the otherwise cheerful cartoon icon. The first trailer shows what this looks like.

Popular characters from children’s stories that have recently entered the public domain are becoming antagonists in low-budget films these days: Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey did last year successfully demonstrated. Now we can look forward to Bambi: The Reckoning and Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, not to mention a sequel to the carnage wrought by Winnie the Pooh.

There is currently no official release announced for Mickey’s Mouse Trap. The release of the trailer suggests that the film not too far away anymore is. Maybe he’ll even come to the cinema.
