Now the deposit is raised

The deposit on various bottles and cans is now being increased. Anyone who hands in an aluminum can or small pet bottle will receive two kroner instead of the previous one kroner. The deposit on a large pet bottle is simultaneously raised to three kroner (previously two kroner).

“Every year we see a small increase in our high deposit rate, which is now just under 90 percent. By making this increase, we are giving the system another boost so that we can recycle even more cans and bottles,” says Tomas Kjellker, CEO of Returpack/Pantamera in a press release.
