The children were discharged from the hospital on Thursday and are now living in a home in Colombia run by the country’s welfare institute.
– They have recovered and are actually doing well, says the institute’s director Astrid Caceres at a press conference.
The siblings’ mother died in the plane crash, and authorities will investigate their family circumstances before they possibly return to their father.
