Zlatan Ibrahimovic ended his career this summer.
A role within AC Milan now seems to be approaching.
But Ibra has a big demand on the club.
It was in June Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 42, announced his retirement from football. After Milan’s season-ending match, Ibra gave a speech on the pitch and thanked him. In Milan, there were a total of 93 goals in 163 games during his two stays at the club between 2010-2012 and 2020-2023.
Zlatan’s life now
Ibrahimovic is seen as one of the best, if not the best, Swedish footballer of all time. He has also been hailed as one of the best Swedish athletes ever. But he has some competition in athletes who Ingemar Stone ground and Björn Borg.
Zlatan spent much of his career in Italy. In addition to his time in Milan, he also played for Juventus and Inter. After the end of his playing career, Ibra and his family have remained in Milan, because they enjoy themselves and because the sons play in Milan’s academy.

There has been wild speculation as to what Ibrahimovic plans to do now after his football career. The 42-year-old has, among other things, his padel halls “Padel Zenter” in both Sweden and Italy. Together with partner Helena Victory he owns a property in Östermalm where the couple act as landlords. But many have hoped to see Zlatan remain in the football movement. As a sports director or some kind of team manager has been balled up.
Ibrahimovic’s demands
The only club that has really been relevant for Ibra is his beloved Milan. Milan have also been open that they would love to have him in a role at the club, after he showed great leadership as a player. Paolo Scaroniclub president, recently said that it is now up to Ibrahimovic himself if and when he wants to join.
– The question should be asked of Zlatan. Me and Gerry Cardinale (the club’s owner) has shown that we are available and open to him coming back. Then it’s up to Ibra. Our door is open, but it seems that he himself has to think carefully about what he wants, Scaroni told Sportbladet.

The parties have also been reported to be negotiating the conditions for Ibra’s return, which is getting closer and closer. But the former striker has set high demands on Milan that need to be met before anything is signed.
The Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera writes that Zlatan demands that he be given a large and important role in the club. He is not interested in any minor part-time work. Ibra wants to have a big influence. Something Milan coach Stefano Pioli should be perfectly fine with, as he believes that Zlatan can motivate the squad in a good way. According to the newspaper, Ibrahimovic has not made a decision about the job yet.
