Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s playing career is coming to an end.
But what lies ahead is unclear.
Now comes exciting information to say the least about an unexpected offer for the Swede.
It has not been an easy year for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Last spring he was forced to have surgery on his knee, and it took many months before he could step back onto the field again. But he did, and in a match against Udinese he made history when he scored directly.
Could be the last game
However, the 41-year-old has subsequently had new injury problems, and lately it has been muscle problems in the calf that have kept him off the field. There were hopes that “Ibra” would make it back to the last round of Serie A, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. And so he may well have played his last football game ever.
Everything indicates that Ibrahimovic will at least leave Milan during the summer. There have been rumors that Ibrahimovic will continue his career elsewhere – among other things, Italian Monza has been mentioned as a possible club address. But there is also other information, which indicates that he may take exciting steps in football, albeit not as a player.

Exciting offer
According to Milan site SempreMilan, Ibrahimovic has received a personal offer from Enzo Raiola, cousin of the late Demon agent Mino Raiola, to join the infamous stable – and thus take the leap to begin life as an agent. Zlatan has a lot of contacts and is a recognized good negotiator, two qualities that fit well in the highly contested agent industry.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic should also, according to the same site, be able to imagine stepping into a role within Milan, then as a leader or in some sporting management. Ibrahimovic has previously been open to becoming a coach after his playing career, but there have also been whispers that some want to see him as a future sporting director. In any case, it is clear that it will be an emotional weekend, when Ibrahimovic waves off the Milan fans for the last time as a player.
