The newcomers HV71 seem to have finished with a proper recruiting bomb for next season. André Petersson and Mattias Tedenby will both return to the club according to agent Aljosa Pilko.
It has been a little more than a year since the classic big club HV71 went down to the hockey allsvenskan. The stay was only one year – and before the next competition year, the club is back in Swedish hockey’s fine room.
The agent confirms
The sports director, Kent Norberg, is currently working hard to put such a competitive team on the ice after the summer. And now Norberg looks like he has brought home two large recruiting bombs.
It is about the forward duo André Petersson and Mattias Tedenby, who both have a past in HV71. In any case, if one is to believe the players’ joint agent, Aljosa Pilko, who confirms for the Russian site Championat that the duo will play for the club next season.
– Tedenby, together with André Petersson, returns to his home club HV71, he says to the site.
Returns to HV71
The duo have both spent the last few years in the KHL, where they have both accounted for a nice points harvest. Mattias Tedenby last played in HV71 three years ago, while Petersson returns after over ten seasons abroad.
These are certainly huge reinforcements for HV71, who really know what it takes to be crowned Swedish champion. Together they have four SM dents – all with the Jönköping club.
