After an investigation lasting just over a year, charges against two brothers in the investigation into gross espionage against Sweden will be brought on Friday.
Both brothers, aged 40 and 35 respectively and living in central Sweden, were arrested last autumn. The older brother has previously been employed by the Security Police and the Armed Forces, and the investigation became known in September when he was arrested. At the time, he was a high-ranking manager at another authority.
The crimes the two are suspected of are said to have been committed between March 2011 and September 2021. Both have denied it all along.
