Tonight it’s time for the artist and phenomenon Håkan Hellström to take over Ullevi in Gothenburg in the first of four long-awaited gigs. It has been five years since he last took the stage and the ticket pressure for the concerts has been enormous, with over 270,000 tickets sold. The tickets for the concerts were released in 2019 but have been canceled due to the pandemic – until now.
“The King of Ullevi”
TV4 Nyheternas reporter Annelie Adqvist is on location outside Ullevi before the first concert and describes the atmosphere as fantastic.
Hellström, who is popularly known as the King of Ullevi, holds the current audience record at the arena from 5 June 2016 when 70,144 spectators saw his performance. Whether that record will be broken this year remains to be seen.
