Now Disneys Harry Potter has no limits

Disney is positioning its own Harry Potter with the fantasy series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. supernatural gifts, various apprentice houses and an overpowering villain are just some of the parallels. In order to unleash the appropriate bombast in the stream, the fantasy highlight should now use the latest technology.

Disney’s Harry Potter replacement uses technology from Star Wars and Marvel

A so-called StageCraft Volume is used for the shoot, which is unparalleled in its dimensions. The Hollywood Reporter reports. The digital stage allows filmmakers to to design and display backgrounds in the scenes on huge screens. The innovative technology creates a spatial impression that (in the best case) makes complex outdoor shoots superfluous. In the case of Percy Jackson, the newly built volume has a screen almost 30 meters high.

Volume stages were previously used in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian or the Marvel cracker Thor 4: Love and Thunder. The Percy Jackson series will be able to make good use of their potential visual power. The adaptation of Rick Riordan’s novels will follow the same story as the feature film Percy Jackson: Thieves in Olympus. There Percy (in the series: Walker Scobell) accused of theft by father of the gods Zeus.
