According to the newspaper, President Biden approved the revised plan in March.

American magazine of the New York Times according to a report published on Tuesday, the president Joe Biden has endorsed a new US nuclear weapons strategy to prepare for possible coordinated nuclear conflicts with Russia, China and North Korea.

According to the newspaper’s information, in March, President Biden approved the US’s top-secret nuclear weapons strategic plan, in which the US’s deterrence strategy is reoriented for the first time to focus on the rapid growth of China’s nuclear arsenal.

According to the New York Times, Biden approved the revised strategy, dubbed “Nuclear Employment Guidance,” in March, but no classified notification of the policy change has yet been submitted to Congress. The announcement to Congress is expected to come before Biden leaves office.

The strategy is updated approximately every four years, the New York Times says.

– This administration, like four administrations before it, has reviewed the nuclear weapons strategy, the White House spokesman Sean Savett commented on Tuesday.

– Although the text of the plan is secret, its existence is not secret. The revised strategy earlier this year is not an answer to any individual entity, country or state, Savett continued.
