Since 1990, Bengt Magnusson has assumed the role of TV4 Nyhetern’s program director. Since then, in addition to Nyheterna, there have been a number of forays into other programs – Nyhetsmorgon, Jakten på rode rubinen, Vem wils blin millionaire and Cancergala are just a few of them. Now, at the age of 72, Bengt Magnusson is leaving TV4, but only as an employee. He promises to get back into the box in the future as a freelancer.
– It is true that tonight’s 22 broadcast will be my last scheduled broadcast, but I can come back even after the New Year.
How does it feel?
– It feels a little split. If you have been in journalism for 50 years and have been at TV4 for almost 33 years, it is clear that things will be different. But on the other hand, I am a fairly active person, so now I have more time for the grandchildren and football.
