Now awaits an election campaign that most did not want

It looks like it’s going to be the kind of election most Americans don’t want, that is, a presidential election with the same candidates as in 2020.
It appears to be incumbent President Joe Biden against former President Donald Trump

Why is Nikki Haley dropping out?

It simply went too badly in the fight against former President Donald Trump. During Super Tuesday, she only managed to claim victory in the small state of Vermont in the northeastern United States. Before that, she had a victory in Washington DC in the bag.

The power of Donald Trump’s MAGA movement proved too difficult to overcome. The number of Republicans who agreed with her rhetoric about generational change and a new “thinking” within the party was far too small.

What message did Haley send to Trump in her speech?

Most importantly, Haley did not endorse Trump. Instead, she said it is now important for Trump to show that he deserves the votes of those who did not vote for him. The subtext was that, of course, Haley herself is one of them.

The question, of course, is whether Haley will support Trump later, despite her harsh criticism in recent months. Is that even possible after the toxic language used between the two combatants? Perhaps. After all, Nikki Haley was the US ambassador to the UN under President Trump.

Who will Haley’s voters support in the Biden-Trump election?

The strategists of both Trump and Biden are now trying to figure out how Haley’s voters will stand in the choice between the current and former president when it comes time to go to the polls on November 5. According to a Quinnipiac University poll, half of these Republican voters would vote for Trump. A total of 37 percent would choose Biden, while the rest are undecided, would choose a third candidate, or become a couch potato.

For some Republican voters, the most important thing is to vote for a Republican, regardless of the fact that it is now almost certain that the presidential candidate is named Donald Trump. For other voters, the question arises as to whether there is even a place for them in the Republican Party.
