Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, current world number 5 in the ATP rankings, won his first tournament of the season in Adelaide, Australia, beating American Sebastian Korda (6-7.7-6, 6-4). Djokovic will take part in the next Australian Open, scheduled for January 16-29, to try to win the first Grand Slam tournament of the season for the tenth time, and thus equal the record of victories in major tournaments held by Rafael Nadal.
