Novak Djokovic defeated Carlos Alcaraz, who was suffering from leg cramps, in the semifinals of the French Open.

Serbian Novak Djokovic convincingly cleared his way to the French Open men’s final of tennis. Ranked third in the tournament, Djokovic defeated the number one ranked Spaniard Carlos Alcarazin 6–3, 5–7, 6–1, 6–1.

The struggle that started as exciting took a dramatic turn in the third set. Alcarazi’s right leg cramped right at the beginning of the set, and Djokovic took the set in show style 6–1.

After his cramps, Alcaraz was no longer able to move normally and could not keep up with Djokovic. The third set was over in half an hour. Djokovic easily took the fourth set and saw the entire match 3–1.

Serbian tennis star Djokovic is already aiming for his 23rd grand slam title in Paris, with which he would leave the Spaniard Rafael Nadal second in the list of men’s all-time grand slam wins.
