Novak Djokovic on his winning habit: “Hugging trees”

The Serbian world number one has his sights set on new records. A possible final win in the Rod Laver arena in two weeks’ time would mean that Djokovic will become alone on the throne with 25 grand slam titles.

– I’m not superstitious, but of course I like to visit certain places that bring me luck and that make me feel good, for example the botanical garden nearby. It’s a beautiful park where I like to be by myself in nature and hug trees and climb trees, says Djokovic.

Set against Dino Prizmic

And he is confident, the superstar. When asked who he sees as his biggest threat in the tournament, he replies:

– Myself, and adds:

– Then come all the other best players in the world.

The Australian Open begins on Sunday. Djokovic will face 18-year-old Dino Prizmic from Croatia in the first round.
