NOUR. Saturday May 21, the young artist Nour, from Florent Pagny’s team, won season 11 of The Voice, on TF1.
She offered Florent Pagny his fifth victory as a coach of The Voice : Nour won, Saturday, May 21, the eleventh season of telecrochet TF1. Aged only 16, the high school student has thus become the youngest winner in the history of the show. For fans of the program and its version for children, the face of the young Nour is perhaps not unknown: she participated in The Voice Kids season 6, in the Soprano team.
This time in the big leagues, the young woman, who had made the four coaches of The Voice turn around, had decided to join the team of Florent Pagny, who led her to victory. Born in Versailles to a Moroccan father and a French mother, Nour lives in the Paris region, in Maurepas, in the Yvelines. From the age of four, the little girl developed a passion for song. First grade student before participating in The Voice, the young Nour decided to stop her schooling to devote herself to her passion.
After her victory at The Voice, Nour now has a dream “to make a career in music, to live from that. I really like musicals. Broadway, it’s a little girl’s dream that is still relevant “, she explains in an interview with the Parisian.
It was therefore with Florent Pagny that Nour had decided to team up, to the detriment of the three other coaches who had turned around at the start of The Voice. Winner of the show on Saturday May 21 with more than 56% of the votes against Mister Mat, the young artist therefore offers Florent Pagny a fifth coaching victory and the third in a row, out of the eleven seasons in which he has participated.
“He told me that he was very happy to finish in style because it’s his last year in The Voice. He’s very proud of us, of the work we’ve done and all the progress we’ve been able to make,” Nour told TF1 after his victory. And to add: “I especially wanted to win the trophy for Florent Pagny, not even for me. As soon as I knew that I was the winner, I was very happy for him (…) He is a man so brave. Sometimes we complain about little things when he, with what he saw, it’s crazy how he remains anchored in the ground. He still laughs as much as before. I was shocked.
Nour largely won over his opponent in the final of The Voice, Mister Cat, with 56% of the votes. She therefore won a contract with Universal Music for her first solo album. For now, the 16-year-old artist does not know which way she will go. “I listen to a bit of everything, I sing everything. I like pop, but I have no idea what style I would like to do my album in,” she explains to TF1.
After his victory at The Voice, Nour dreams of “making an album and living off [s]a passion later, to become a singer.” And to conclude, questioned by the first channel: “My dream would be to work hard on my songs, that the public be receptive and like what I do.” It would really be the major.
