Some schools in Serbia were evacuated due to “bomb alert”! In the statement made by the Serbian Interior Ministry, it was noted that notifications were sent to the e-mail addresses of some schools across the country that explosives were placed in schools.

In the statement, it was stated that the schools were evacuated and it would be checked whether the bomb threat was fake.

Pointing out that the previous bomb threats against schools were unfounded, the statement said, “We would like to remind you that as of May 8, the presence of police officers taking protective measures has been increased in all primary and secondary schools in Serbia, as well as in school districts. He takes care of his public order on a daily basis.” it was said.

ARMED ATTACKS IN SERBIA

At Belgrade’s Vladislav Ribnikar Primary School, 14-year-old KK opened fire on security guards and students on 3 May. In the attack, 10 people, including 9 children, a security guard, lost their lives, and 6 people were injured, including 5 children and a teacher.

It was stated that the 14-year-old boy had been planning the attack for a month and had a school plan with a list of the students he attacked.

After the attack, two police officers were deployed at each school across Serbia.

Two days after the school attack in the capital, 21-year-old UB Mladenvac opened random fire to the surroundings with an automatic rifle from his vehicle in Dubona village, killing 8 people.

National mourning was declared after two armed attacks in Serbia that resulted in the loss of 18 lives. (AA)
