Max Verstappen was the fastest in the first qualifying sessions of the Formula One season in Bahrain.
The first qualifying sessions of the Formula One season in Bahrain continued where they left off last season. Red Bull, who won the previous three world championships Max Verstappen grabbed pole position.
This time Verstappen’s gap to second, Ferrari to Charles Leclerc was 0.228 seconds. Mercedes was third George Russell and fourth by Ferrari Carlos Sainz.

Last season saw a historically superior season from Red Bull and Verstappen. Red Bull won 21 of the season’s 22 races. Verstappen had 19 victories.
