Speaking within the scope of the special event organized for the New Astra, Opel Turkey General Manager Alpagut Girgin underlined the goal of leadership.
The new Opel Astra, whose arrival in Turkey was made official as part of a special event held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, is one of the most serious breakthroughs in recent years for its brand. Astra, which will be perhaps the most bony member of the identity change that Opel has realized within itself, also has a big claim in the competition it is in. We can say that in the competition that has been going on for years with important names such as Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus, Seat Leon, Peugeot 308 and Renault Megane, an ambitious generation has been captured, perhaps more than ever. In addition to the design, the Turkey operation also made remarkable statements for the product range that winks at the premium level with its equipment.

In his statements on the subject, Girgin; “It is important for all of us that Huettl makes his first visit to Turkey after taking office. Being seen as a potential and stable market brings the priority of supply to Turkey. In this way, we can say that we have solved the supply problem to a large extent. Especially with 2023, we will not have a vehicle availability problem. I can see we’ve figured this out. At the end of next year, we will leave our biggest competitor behind and become the first among imported C Hatchbacks. Our aim is very clearly in this direction.” he stated.
