During the night, many were out to catch a glimpse of the Perseid meteor shower. But that wasn’t the only phenomenon in the sky – several people have also reported another mysterious light phenomenon seen in the sky.
According to experts that Aftonbladet spoke to, this light phenomenon is neither about the meteor shower nor about other unexpected visits from outer space, but about a rocket launch that was made to send a satellite into orbit around the Earth.
Most likely, this light phenomenon was not part of the meteor shower.
