Norwegian women on a ghost hunt in Strömstad were stopped by the police

During the night, the police received a call about a suspected burglary in an unoccupied villa in Hogdal in Strömstad. A caller reportedly raised the alarm that several people had entered the house.

The police were called to the scene and were able to find five young Norwegians who had entered the house. The women tell the police that there is a rumor in Norway that the house is haunted. “They must have walked around the house and scared each other,” the police write on their website.

Two of the young women are minors and had to be driven to the border where Norwegian police helped in the matter.

The police are handling the case as illegal trespassing – and one of the women is also suspected of drug offences.
