Johannes Thingnes Bö has completely dominated biathlon.
Swedish icon Pernilla Wiberg has singled him out as “stupid in the head”.
Now comes the answer from the Norwegian superstar to “Pillan”.

Of course the dominant finished Johannes Thingnes Bö the season by winning the last race at home in Holmenkollen. The Norwegian has completely outclassed all opposition during the season and has been completely superior both in the tracks and on the shooting range.

Swedish icon Pernilla Wiberg used quite the unexpected this weekend when she was going to explain why the Norwegian is so superior.
– We are all a bit stupid in the head and you have to be to succeed in sports, in different ways of course, said the alpine legend in the “Winter studio” race.

Thingnes Bö’s answer

Now comes the answer from Thingnes Bö to “Pillan” and he is really doubtful about the choice of words.
– You have to be (stupid in the head) to become an expert in that case as well. But in biathlon there are some other means, I don’t think it helps to be stupid. It is important to make smart choices and I think I have done that, he tells SportExpressen.

The Norwegian wants to be clear that he does not agree with Wiberg.
– No, I don’t think it is consistent. There are always some stupid athletes, but I think it’s rather rare, says Thingnes Bö in the interview.
