A few years ago, Tande, who was very severely injured, ends his ski jumping career.

Norwegian ski jumping Olympic champion Daniel-Andre Tande end his career at the age of 30.

Tande won Olympic gold in the team hill in 2018. In the World Cup competitions, Tande also reached the highest podium many times in individual competitions.

Tande was seriously injured in March 2021 at the Planica airfield.

The jumper fell into a coma, but later returned to the Games. Tande participated in the World Cup last season.

– Three years after the violent fall, I have needed time to understand that the fear of hill jumping has been greater than I initially felt. That’s why ending my career now feels right.
