It is not only the Swedish national teammates who feel for Linn Svahnwho was forced to go home from the ski World Cup with a concussion before the championship had begun.
Weng’s tears
Norwegian star Heidi Weng Reacts strongly when she at Friday’s press conference, before the weekend’s skiathlon, is asked how she received the message about Svahn.
– I have to admit that I started crying. And I certainly do that now, too, says Weng at the same time as the voice is bursting and the eyes are tearing.

The 33-year-old Norwegian has previously talked about how she herself suffered from long-term problems as a result of a concussion, including with a daily life characterized by constant headaches.
– So I sincerely hope that she takes it easy now in the beginning, says Weng as she fights for tears.
– It is not meant to be as taken, but she must be as careful as possible in the first few days. I don’t want this, and I was really looking forward to seeing Linn at the World Cup.
Svahn’s accident
Svahn fell badly during a workout earlier this week and hit his head so badly that it was excluded to compete at all.

The big risk is if she crashes again, it can be fatal consequences, so it is not relevant to expose yourself to such a risk. It can cause problems that last for a long time, said the Swedish national team doctor Rickard Noberius about the decision.
