Kristine Stavå’s Skistad won the sprint final ahead of Linn Svahn.
Immediately after the race, the Norwegian chose to mock the Swedish rivals.

It was Lynn Svahn who had impressed the most during the entire sprint competition in the Norwegian Drammen. The Swede first won the qualifier and then secured overall victory in the Sprint Cup during the quarter-finals.

But when it was then decided in the sprint final, she once again had to settle for second place. For the Norwegian rival Kristine Stavå’s Ski City had the most energy left on the run and sprinted home to victory at home.

Third came the American Rosie Brennan and thereafter Johanna Hagström. But for Frida Karlsson became a nightmare in the final when the pole broke and she came last.
Skistad’s mockery
Directly after the finish, Skistad then sent a mocking grin to his Swedish rivals after the new sprint victory.
– I am surprised that the Swedes went so slowly. But it is only for me to thank for that, says the Norwegian to TV2.

Nor was it the first Norwegian taunt of the day, as already in the quarter-finals there was a cheeky pass from the neighboring country to Sweden. When no blue-yellow skier chose to go in the first quarter-final together with Stavås Skistad.
– It took until March before they learned it, said Norway’s national team coach Stig Rune Kveen.
