Queen of Norway Sonja has been hospitalized, the country’s royal house said on Saturday evening.
The 87-year-old queen suffered from atrial fibrillation during a skiing trip earlier on Saturday, the royal palace said in a press release. He was admitted to Lillehammer Hospital for observation.
According to the royal palace, the queen’s condition is not serious and she is doing well considering the circumstances.
Even on Thursday, Queen Sonja was at work. According to the Royal House, he has no known future representative duties.
