A Chadian military operation has been underway in the north-west of the Central African Republic, in the sub-prefecture of Paoua, in the Ouham-Pendé region, since May 14, 2023. Operation which began two days ago against those whom the Chadian Defense Minister, General Daoud Yaya Brahim, describes as “bandits”. He talks about a joint operation with the Central African Armed Forces, and draws up an initial provisional assessment.
