North Korea has fired several cruise missiles from its west coast, the South Korean military says.
According to Seoul, which is analyzing the launches together with the United States, the robots must have landed in the sea. It is unclear how many projectiles were fired.
Tensions on the Korean Peninsula have risen in recent months as Kim Jong Un has stepped up the reclusive regime’s weapons tests and nuclear threats against South Korea and its allies.
