Norfolk OPP investigating suspicious incident in Villa Nova

Provincial police in Norfolk are appealing to the public for information to help identify a man in connection to a suspicious incident in Villa Nova.

Officers were sent to McLaren Street address at about 2:38 pm on April 2 and, upon arrival, learned that an individual had illegally entered a residence on the property. The person then left the home in an unknown direction.

No items have been reported missing, Norfolk OPP said in a statement.

The individual is described as a Black male, between 30 and 35 years of age. He was wearing a black ski mask.

Norfolk OPP officers are continuing to investigate and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122. Those who wish to remain anonymous are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.helpsolvecrime.com to become eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
