A Norfolk man is facing several firearm charges following a police investigation at a Simcoe address.
Norfolk OPP responded to the address at just before 9 am on Friday, Jan. 20.
A 37-year-old man was subsequently charged with three counts of careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition. He has also been charged with possession of a firearm knowing the serial number has been tampered with, possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, and possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm/ammunition.
The accused remains in custody, police said in a media release on Monday. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
