A Norfolk County man is facing assault with a weapon charges following a police investigation into an intimate partner violence incident in the county.
The incident occurred at just after 3 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 22.
Norfolk OPP say a 62-year-old man was taken into custody without incident.
He has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, mischief- destroys or damages property, and operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code.
He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
