An emergency call to report suspicious activity resulted in a list of charges against a Norfolk County man including trafficking LSD and Xanax.
Norfolk OPP responded to a 911 call on Norfolk Street North in Simcoe.
Police say a resident made the call after spotting two people attempting to steal a bike at just before 6:30 pm Thursday.
Responding officers located two people, who were taken into custody.
A 21-year-old Norfolk man was subsequently charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking Xanax and trafficking Lysergic Acid Diethlamide (LSD). He was also charged with possession of over 30 grams of dried cannabis in a public place, theft under $5,000, and failing to comply with a release order.
A 24-year-old Brantford man was charged with theft under $5,000 and being intoxicated in a public place.
