A 48-year-old Norfolk County man faces charges following an investigation into stolen property.

Norfolk OPP’s Preventing Auto Theft Unit, along with the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Community Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant at a property on Windham Road 13 just after 7 am on Friday, October 25.
The investigation began in September 2024 and resulted in officers locating five stolen vehicles, two stolen utility trailers, vehicles and accessories worth about $200,000 in total.
The accused has been charged with five counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – in Canada; and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Vehicle stolen in Caledonia
Haldimand OPP are seeking the public’s help to identify a vehicle and suspects involved in an auto theft.

Police were contacted early Friday morning after two or more unidentified people stole a vehicle parked in the driveway of a Lise Lane home in Caledonia sometime between 2:50 and 3:00 am
Investigators believe an electronic device was used to capture the unique signal from a key fob located inside the residence, in order to start and remove the vehicle.
Surveillance video shows what appeared to be a newer model white Honda Civic with a real spoiler stopping in front of the home and leaving at the same time as the stolen vehicle.
Police say the stolen vehicle has been recovered.
