After Norfolk County OPP responded to a call about a fight in Waterford, a man who was being arrested allegedly assaulted a police officer.
Police said they responded to reports of a man making threats against Nichol Street residents at about 7 pm Monday.
A 54-year-old Norfolk man was arrested and charged with assault, assaulting a police officer, and mischief under $5,000.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
