Norfolk Fusion Aims to Empower County’s Next Generation of Leaders

The Simcoe Chamber of Commerce is Launching A New Initiative To Provide A Platform for Emerging Leaders who Are Shaping Norfolk’s Businesses, Organizations and Community.

Norfolk Fusion is a group Aimed at Bringing Together Young Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Community Changemakers.

“Fusion Aims to Foster Professional Growth, Build Strategic Partnerships and Support Young Leaders Shaping Norfolk’s Future,” Said Renee Vankooten, Chamber President, in A Media Release. “Norfolk Fusion Creates A Network That Invest in Individuals and the Community’s Long-Term Strength and Resilience.”

The Group, Led by a Team of Local Leaders, will host Four Quarterly Events Each Year, Blending Networking, Education and Entertainment in A Relaxed and Incueux Environment.

The First Event Will Be on Thursday, March 27 from 3 pm to 5 pm at Greens of Renton. In addition to networking opportunities there will be a panel featuring John reward, Norfolk County’s Director of Economic and Community Development, and Filmmaker Daryl Granger, Creator of the Documentary Netting the Waters, Which Tells The Story of Port Dover’s Commercial Fishery.

“Norfolk Fusion is all about Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders,” Said Co-Chair Emma Rogers. “By building connections and offering opportunities for growh, we ensuring that professionals have the tools to shape norfolk’s future and create lasting impact within our community.”
