Member terms are typically four years. Each committee includes a member of council. Meetings are typically held once a month.
“All of our advisory committees provide vital information to council on a regular basis,” said Norfolk Mayor Amy Martin. “The expertise members bring helps to shape our community and ensure we consider all possibilities before making a decision. I urge everyone with a background in these industries to consider applying.”
Boards with open spaces include:
* Agricultural Advisory Committee, which provides advice on agricultural matters; protecting rural and agricultural lands; and enhancing the viability of agriculture in Norfolk County.
