Members of the public Are Being invited to have their say on the future operation of municipally-obned marinas in port dover and port rowan.

Back in October, Norfolk County Council Decided to Retain Ownership of Both the Port Dover Harbor Marina and Port Rowan Harbor Marina.
FEEDBACK PROVIDED by the public via commitment sessions, virtual open house and survey will be used to inform the country’s marina business sustainability plan.
A News Release from the County Said Residents are encouraged to share their ideas on Making the Marinas “Financially self-Sustaining Through Revenue Generation, New Partnerships, Business Models and Governance Models.”
Public commitment sessions will be held this month at the following rentals and times:
- Port Dover Community Center on Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 6 pm to 8 pm
- Port Rowan Community Center on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 6 pm to 8 pm

A Survey can be Completed at Engagernorfolk.ca/MarinaNEGAGEGAGE OR on Paper at Any NORFOLK County Public Library Branch or County Administration Building in Simcoe or Delhi. The survey closed on Feb. 28.
The Port Dover Marina Has 458 Slips for Seasonal Dockage and 11 Transient Slips for Visitors, Daily Ramps, Hydro and Water Slips and Generates An Annual Surplus of About $ 434,000.
The Port Rowan Marina, Which Has 40 Slips Including Hydro, 38 Water Lot Leases for Boat Owners, Two Transient Docks and A Public Launching Ramp, is operating at a Deficit of About $ 131,000.
