“Brenda Did A Good Job and Her Conclusions about the Arenas Are Logical,” Councillor Adam Veri Wrote Online. “They are also acceptable to most residents. Both of Those Things can be at the same time. ”

Veri Pointed Out that Norfolk County Has Spent Thousands of Dollars on Arenas in Recent Years, Including the Adressing Rooms in Delhi and Waterford for this Season.

“Council was never planning to decommission Arenas,” he Said. “There is zero interest in exploring that recommendation Any Further. This was not a secret plan to put (a large arena project) back on the table. All Related Conspiracies and Rumours Are Complely Unfounded and Total Nonsense. ”

Duthie Added While A New Arena May Be Viable in the Long Term, Nothing is imminent.

“I think we have to have dialogue about what that looks like in the future,” he said. “Right now? No, goal in 20 years? Maybe that does make sense… It would be bad for us to not consider what the future may look like. ”
