Since the explosions targeting the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines in 2022, speculation has been rife about who was responsible for the politically significant sabotage. The attack took place six months after the start of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Sweden and Denmark ended their investigations earlier this year. Germany continued them and issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian suspect.
