Norconsult aims for a listing in Oslo

The engineering firm Norconsult has submitted an application to be listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Norconsult, which operates in Sweden, has approximately 6,000 employees distributed over 130 offices around the Nordic countries and Poland.

The company was founded in 1929 and last year had sales of NOK 7.5 billion and reported an EBITA result of NOK 741 million. The IPO is expected to facilitate future growth and development in the company and improve Norconsult’s ability to take advantage of strategic opportunities, a press release states.

Today, the company is wholly owned by a total of 3,700 employees. In connection with the listing, the company will sell existing shares.
