Nope is one of the most exciting movies of the year. Jordan Peele’s sci-fi horror about mysterious phenomena surrounding a California horse ranch has kept many fans busy, including the story of a character removed from the film want to fathom (via Reddit). The director took this as an opportunity to give viewers hope for Nope 2.
Jordan Peele teases Nope 2 with mysterious figure
The mysterious character named “Nobody”, who only appears in one of the trailers and is played by Michael Busch, causes headaches for the community. Peele explained this in an interview with the New York Times:
The character’s story has yet to be told. In other words: I’m happy that people are paying attention. There will be more answers in the future. We haven’t told everything yet.

Michael Busch’s mysterious character “Nobody” in the trailer for Nope
Many on Reddit mistake Busch’s mysterious character for a pedophile, who threatens the child stars of a TV show featured in the film. So far, however, there is no hard evidence for this theory.
When could Nope be continued?
Whether, when and in what form the sci-fi horror will be continued is still completely open. The film is on track to be a hit at the box office (via The Numbers ), so a sequel could be financially worthwhile. Between Nope and Peele’s last film we passed about 3 years. Maybe Nope 2 awaits us as early as 2025. A sequel in media other than the cinema film is also conceivable.
