The fast swimmer Nooralotta Neziri signed up by Wednesday at the latest to seriously compete for a place at the European Championships in Rome. He missed the limit by three hundredths with a time of 13.01.
Although Neziri has not broken the limit, he can still be selected based on the ranking.
Neziri was emotional after his run on his home field. He represents the Jyväskylä Field Athletes.
– When I saw the audience, I started to cry. These past years have been fucked up, so it was really nice now.
I got stuck in the stands and it was a bad start, but considering that, I’m really satisfied.
Nezir was left with the feeling that he still has a lot of room for improvement. The 13-second limit may well be broken soon.
Neziri has had a lot of different difficulties in recent years, so he is relieved for a reason.
– I have always doubted myself. If you didn’t continue, there was something to worry about. Now then a new attempt.
Nezir’s right leg was taped. This is a precautionary measure.
– The sole is sometimes irritated. However, it shouldn’t be anything more.
