For two years, the project has been organized by Nya Kompisbyrån, a non-profit association financed by, among others, the European Social Fund. Of the participants in Uppsala, 22 percent got a job and 48 percent stated that they had reached their goals, whether it was an internship, studies, job interview or employment.
– To help the participants reach their goals, we use training and mentoring, says Linnea Netin, project manager.
